Raccoon Removal
Raccoons are very smart, are powerful climbers, and have surprisingly strong and nimble hands. These qualities allow the raccoon to get into your attic, tear through your garbage, and shred through your insulation and ductwork, among other things. Many raccoons like to set up shop in attics, especially females who need a nest
Mice & Rat Removal
Rats and mice are not only a nuisance but can also cause property damage and transmit diseases. You’ll know they’ve arrived if you see rodent droppings near a food source or shredded fabric or paper. We go to the root of the mice infestation problem in your home. We trap and remove rats and mice, and seal shut all their access points. Removing rodents with traps or poisons will not keep rodents out of your home in the future. To permanently keep rats and mice out of your home, you will need to prevent access by sealing all possible entry points. It is equally important to eliminate rodent attractions such as food and water by keeping food in tightly sealed containers and repairing leaky pipes.
Common Access Points for Rodents
1. Holes near cabinets, closets or doors leading to outside or crawl spaces.
2. Holes around sink or appliance pipes.
3. Cracked foundations in the basement or unscreened ventilation holes in the attic, especially in older structures.
4. Holes around windows or doors.
Opossum Removal -Opossums are nocturnal, largely nomadic, and common on urban areas. They are highly adaptable, and can live almost anywhere and eat almost anything. Thus, they often use human shelter and food sources. They are gentle animals, for the most part, but can defend themselves if necessary. Opossums are opportunistic, common, and great survivors. They will scavenge what they can, and often eat human garbage, pet food, etc. Possums are great climbers, and they will live in any shelter they can find, including the attics of homes, or underneath elevated houses, sheds, porches, etc. They may look threatening, but they are usually fairly docile. It is common to find the little ones in the summer
Common Opossum Problems-Breaking into an attic, and setting up a nest. Crawling under a shed, porch, or deck and living there. Eating from garbage cans, pet food, bird seed, etc. Depositing feces in swimming pool, on porch, yard, etc.
Squirrel Removal
Squirrels are a common residential critter, and they especially love to hang out in your attic. They’re fierce chewers, going through insulation and electrical wires that create a serious fire hazard for your home. The most serious danger associated with having squirrels in your attic is a fire hazard. Squirrels are destructive by nature and like all rodents they chew on electrical wiring. By chewing on wires they strip the plastic coating, which exposes the bare copper wire and creates a very dangerous situation. The native gray squirrels in our area are the most common squirrels. These are the squirrels that you see on the road and in your yard during the daylight hours. The most common symptoms of a gray squirrel infestation are scratching and chewing noise in walls, floors and ceilings during the early morning hours and then again at dusk. Gray squirrels are very destructive. These are the squirrels that chew large holes in house.
Common Squirrel Problems
1. Leave feces and urine deposits in your attic
2. Cause damaged, shredded and smelly insulation
3. Cause urine stains on your ceilings
4. Gnaw through wiring causing fire hazards
5. Chew large holes in your roof, siding and more
6. Cause hundreds of dollars worth of damage
Snake Removal
Most snake bites happen when residents try to kill or capture them, because snakes are not aggressive unless provoked. If you have a snake hanging around your pool, lawn, or home, it’s best to just leave snakes alone. Snakes interact with people, children, and pets, often to consequences. They are found in various places, such as under logs, debris piles, crawl spaces and even attics. The presence of a snake in or around your home often indicates an underlying rodent or insect infestation.
Where do Snakes Hide?
Snakes are drawn to places they feel are safe to hunt, hide, and live in such as, piles of debris on your property (such as piles of rocks or dead wood), bushes, hedges, or areas of brush that aren’t trimmed back, high grass– short grass makes it harder for snakes to hide in it, gaps under your doors, decks, or patios.
